The ultimate goal of the Sullivan Field and LAPS Field House renovation was to improve the safety and security of students and guests at sporting events. The design included home and visitor’s locker rooms, an official’s room, training room, public restrooms, ticket booths, and concessions. The bold design is highly visible from Diamond Drive.
The new facility supports sports teams and the band, as well as high school physical education classes. The new structure is just over 7,000 square feet and includes locker rooms for home and away teams, new concessions and ticket booths, public restrooms, a training room and 1,000 square feet of storage space. In addition, a new Press Box was installed behind the home bleachers.
