We are thrilled to share our latest endeavor, which involves breaking ground on a cutting-edge trades facility that will revolutionize the construction industry. As an industry leader in innovative construction solutions, we are committed to shaping the future of trades education and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. The upcoming establishment is scheduled for completion in early 2025. In total, it will encompass 60,750 square feet of classroom and lab space, serving as the home for CNM’s Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC (Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning), Plumbing, Mechatronics (Industrial Automation Technology), and Welding programs. In partnership with CNM, Vigil & Associates, and Arichitekton, we’re creating a state-of-the-art facility fostering excellence and craftsmanship for New Mexicans interested in the trades.
The journey towards this groundbreaking facility began with a shared vision between several local trades industry representatives. They recognized the need for a facility to be a hub for comprehensive trades education and practical skill development. With this vision in mind, we joined forces to create a facility that would provide a learning environment and resources necessary to support aspiring tradespeople with career development.
The new trades facility will incorporate state-of-the-art technology providing students with hands-on experience and skill development in a safe and controlled environment. This setting will accelerate the learning process; preparing students for the challenges of modern construction projects and help offset the demand for skilled labor across the State of New Mexico.
